			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve just read a report called the 4 Keys to a Faster Fat Loss that&#8217;s being offered for Free by Arnel Ricafranca and Joel Marion (author of the <a href="http://fitfirmbody.com/2009/04/28/cheat-your-way-thin-review/">Cheat Your Way Thin</a> program). It&#8217;s a report which teaches an ambitious workout method to burn lots of body fat fast.</p>
<p>The keys, as this report described them are:</p>
<p>- Increasing the number of repetitions</p>
<p>- Using greater load or simply weight</p>
<p>- Reducing the rest time between exercises in a specific workout</p>
<p>- Doing more rounds of the same workout circuit that you&#8217;re used to doing.</p>
<p>I say that this is ambitious as the goal of the report is to show you how it&#8217;s possible to do workouts that burn a 1000 calories each. Well, I have to admit that the report also seems to have been made to arouse interest in a program Arnel Ricafranca and Joel Marion are releasing later this month called the <a href="http://www.worldofdiets.com/1000-calorie-challenge-review/">1000 Calorie Challenge</a>.</p>
<p>The report also touches on the nutritional aspects of this program. This part is actually more interesting, at least in my opinion, than the workouts themselves.</p>
<p><strong>How easy it is do such workouts</strong></p>
<p>There is no doubt that doing such intensive workouts is not easy. It takes a lot out of you so expect some difficult moments if you&#8217;re going to be doing this kind of workouts. Naturally, as you build your fitness and stamina, it will get easier. The good thing about this report and the workouts it teaches about is that they are mostly made of circuits of strength exercises and not some long and boring cardio workout. I actually like to do long cardio, but if you&#8217;re short on time, it can be quite hard to fit into your schedule.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I want to share with you some of my activity for today. I think this is a good and balanced workout routine for me and one which I&#8217;m using quite a lot recently.</p>
<p>This involves doing short and intensive strength workouts, no more than 30 minutes long each. However, I also walk 30 minutes to the gym and 30 minutes back home, before and after the workout.</p>
<p>I wouldn&#8217;t have done this had the gym no been 30 minutes or so away by foot. Had it taken me an hour I wouldn&#8217;t have walked all the way. However, now that I&#8217;ve begun doing this workout I like it more and more. I find that the walking clears my mind off my work and eases any tension I have right out of me. When I get to the gym I don&#8217;t need to do any warm up exercises as the entire walk has done enough to bring my heart rate up.</p>
<p>In the gym I do 2-4 sets per muscle group. I usually do more sets for the big muscles (legs, chest, back) than for the smaller ones. I focus on form and not weight as the most important thing for me right now is to maintain my current body weight and muscle formation and nothing more. I am not interested in losing more fat or getting much bigger muscles.</p>
<p>After the workout, walking back cools me off nicely and allows me to eat my post-workout meal without overcompensating myself and stuffing myself full of calories. Overcompensation is a big issue for many people and one which is preventing them from shedding weight.</p>
<p>Overcompensation happens when you eat too much after a workout and negate the calorie burning effect of the workout that you just finished and, in so doing, avoid losing any weight.</p>
<p>Again, I find that walking after my strength workout is done is a great way to stop this from happening to me, so try it out.</p>

<p>At that time I cut down my body fat drastically. However, it was time consuming and boring.</p>
<p>There is a way to make cardio more effective, less time consuming and more fun&#8230;</p>
<p>It&#8217;s called <a href="http://www.worldofdiets.com/high-intensity-interval-training-workouts/">Interval Training</a> and it&#8217;s a workout technique that you should adopt. Doing intervals means that during your workout<br />
you have high intensity segments and lower intensity ones.</p>
<p>For instance, this morning I walked to the park close to where I live and I did the following workout:</p>
<p>1. I sprinted for about 30-35 yards between two signs in the park.</p>
<p>2. I either ran back at a medium pace to the starting position or walked briskly to it.</p>
<p>The sprinting really pushed my heart rate up and the brisk walk back allowed me to &#8220;rest&#8221; for the next sprint. I did this 10 times and by the time I finished I was wiped. And it only took me about 10 minutes.</p>
<p>My girlfriend told me that she watched me from our apartment window and that I looked pretty funny doing it (-:</p>
<p>However, my point is that I was able to get a great cardio workout in just 10-15 minutes! No need to be on a treadmill for an hour.</p>
<p>You can do intervals with practically any <a href="http://www.worldofdiets.com/cardio-workouts-to-lose-weight/">cardio workout</a> you like doing. It&#8217;s powerful and it works.</p>

<p>New personal papers from Margaret Thatcher, known as the Iron Lady, reveal the extra-strict diet that she underwent during her campaign for British Prime Minister in 1979.</p>
<p>The papers were discovered among thousands of personal notes, diaries, letters, and other papers which have no become a matter of public record (British law publicizes these letters after 30 years).</p>
<p>It seems that the Iron Lady was a bit sensitive about her figure and wanted to lose 20 lbs in the final two weeks of her successful 1979 campaign.</p>
<p>The diet plan she embarked upon is not the kind I would recommend to a normal person as it&#8217;s very extreme.</p>
<p>The diet included 28 eggs a week, two for breakfast and two for lunch. In addition, there was to be no alcohol unless she also had a steak before hand. Why the meat gave her greater allowance to sip alcohol is not clear, but it&#8217;s obvious that she believed that it will.</p>
<p>Her favorite alcholic beverage was Whiskey, and she also made sure to eat a daily salad.</p>
<p>Is this a healthy diet plan?</p>
<p>I doubt it. It includes too much protein and too little healthy carbs. However, for a short time, it may be able to help you shed a few pounds.</p>
<p>Meticulous as ever, Thatcher kept an eating diary and made sure to tick off every item she ate off her list. This is a good move for anyone who wishes to lose weight.</p>
<p>All in all, this sort of crash diet isn&#8217;t something that I recommend for anyone who wishes to achieve a real lifestyle change.</p>

In fact, you don&#8217;t lift it, but shake it around in all sorts of positions. This is supposed to work your upper body much better than any weight lifting ever could.</p>

So far, I have not really been able to figure out exactly what it means but it seems to indicate that you get a better workout by doing short range to static exercises like the Shake Weight is supposed to produce.</p>
<p>I won&#8217;t hide my own opinion of this product. I don&#8217;t like it. It seems fishy to me. I haven&#8217;t tried it myself and, unless someone hands it to me, never will. I don&#8217;t think I need to try it to say that it won&#8217;t work as well as advertised for a couple of reasons:</p>
<p>1. I don&#8217;t think short range of motion exercises are better than full range of motions ones.</p>
<p>2. I find some of the claims on the Shake Weight site to be contradictory if not outright false.</p>
<p>The thing I find most offensive is what seems to me to be a marketing ploy which is employed once for the women&#8217;s products and once for the men&#8217;s. On the ad for the women&#8217;s version of this product, it says that it helps you avoid getting bulky muscles.</p>
<p>As you may know, women like to have lean muscles and not bulky ones. The claim is that using the ShakeWeight can somehow help you achieve that.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t believe this is true and for proof, I bring before you the claim for the men&#8217;s version which promises that you&#8217;d be able to get big muscles with it.</p>
<p>The truth is that your genetic makeup pretty much determines how easy or hard it is for you to get bulky muscles. Not this workout method or another will really make the difference. To bulk up you need to work with a lot of weight, which is something any woman or man can control fully.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.worldofdiets.com/shake-weight/">Shake Weight reviews</a> are still few and far between as this is a new product. However, I&#8217;ve seen at least one fitness professional who agrees with me that this is not the next fitness miracle. Far from it. You&#8217;ve been warned.</p>
