I realized that in the introductory post I didn’t write about myself, I only wrote about why I am writing this blog in the first place.
So, allow me to introduce myself. I am John Davenport and I’m glad you joined me here today.
I have been overweight for most of my early life, ever since I can remember myself. I tried many times to lose weight in many ways but failed repeatedly. Eventually, I decided that enough was enough and took it upon myself to change how I look and feel.
In the process I not only changed my body, I also changed my mindset. I lost over 30 pounds, increased my fitness to a whole new level and changed myself and my life from the inside out.
I learned a lot about what it takes to lose weight and keep it off, tone your body, increase muscle mass, and change your mindset to help you move forward in all areas of life.
In truth, it has been an amazing journey.
I then decided that it was time to share with others what I learned and to help them achieve the kind of results they want. To this day, I have helped thousands lose weight, get fit, have flatter stomachs, or come to grips with what is keeping them from losing weight.
I have reviewed many weight loss programs, written over 500 articles on health and fitness issues, and even learned how to design a few simple websites of my own.
I am the author of the Emotional Eating Solution program which teaches people how to overcome binge eating and compulsive eating. It is based on my own experience and research.
I am the administrator of the Fat Loss 4 Idiots Forum, an online community of people who use the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet. I have also written a support guide for this diet which I give away for free.
I enjoy listening to music, working out, being with my loved ones, and helping others. I hope to help you as well.
