My name is Jonathan but my friends call me John, so please do the same.
I decided to begin this blog as a way to communicate directly with the millions of people who wish to improve their health, lose weight, and look the best they can.
It’s getting harder and harder to keep healthy and fit these days. The demands of the modern workplace are much higher than they were in the past. We work harder and for more hours and often we take work home with us. Add to that our household obligations and the time we invest in our family and we’re left pretty much with no free time on our hands.
Of course, this is partly an illusion. You can find free time if you just set your priorities straight, but it’s not that easy to do all the time, which is something I’ll write about on the blog.
With all the technology around us and the advances in food science and development, it would have been logical to assume that we would be getting healthier and fitter but the opposite is true. The Western world is going through a true obesity epidemic whose true scale is only going to become clear in the near future. We, asĀ a society in general, are not taking too good a care of ourselves.
This is a shame because being fit, lean, and healthy shouldn’t be that hard. If you just live your life right it doesn’t have to be. All you need is the right information and the willingness to invest some of your time (and money) in being healthy and looking great.
The problem is that much of the information we get is false and misleading. We often eat the wrong things, workout in an ineffective way, and waste money on useless products all because of misleading advertising and misconceptions.
This blog will help to bust through all the lies and present the true picture. I will do what I can to bring you the best information around. And, if in the process we get to know each other a bit, that would be very nice as well (:
